4 Ways To Tone Your Arms Fast For Women

Military Press

This exercise involves pressing weights above your head, then lowering back to starting position. Experiment with a few different weights to see what works best. Ideally, you should be able to lift the weight between 8 to 12 times before you are unable to lift anymore.

Begin by standing upright, with feet shoulder-width apart. Start with the weights at shoulder height, then slowly raise them toward the ceiling until your arms are straight. Then slowly bring the weights back down to starting position. Perform about 3 sets of 8-12 reps.

Lateral Raises

Here is another exercise that focuses on the shoulder muscles to provide that shapely figure. Start by standing upright, holding one dumbbell in each hand, with feet shoulder-width apart. Slowly raise your straight arms out to the sides, and raise the dumbbells up to the ceiling until your arms are parallel to the floor. Slowly lower back to starting position.

Bicep Curls

Bicep curls are basic arms exercises that develop the bicep muscle in the front. The definition between this muscle and the shoulders will add great shape to your arms. Begin by holding a dumbbell in each hand. Slowly raise the weight until your bicep is completely flexed, then lower back to starting position. Do this exercise on each arm, for about 3 sets of 8-12 reps.

Tricep Extension

This exercise works the tricep muscles on the back and sides of your arms to complete that overall toned and defined look to your arms. Grab a weight in between both hands, and hold it directly over your head with straight arms. Slowly lower the weight behind your head, making sure to keep your elbows as close to your head as possible. Then raise the weight back to the top.
